The “Leave No One Behind” Toolkit

This deliverable presents the Beta version of the CitiObs "Leave No One Behind" (LNOB) Toolkit, designed to help Citizen Observatories (COs) foster diverse and inclusive participation. The toolkit provides practical methods and guidance to engage people from various backgrounds, including different genders, social statuses, literacy levels, abilities, and cultural contexts. It includes workshop materials, facilitation techniques, and structured advice for improving equity and representation in CO activities. The Beta version will be tested and refined with project partners before being integrated into the CitiObs Cookbook, ensuring broad accessibility and usability.

Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan

This deliverable outlines the updated strategy for communicating and promoting CitiObs, ensuring its visibility and impact. It provides guidance for all project partners on how to share findings, engage stakeholders, and maximize the use of project results. The plan includes targeted communication strategies, dissemination activities such as events and publications, and an exploitation approach to ensure the long-term sustainability of CitiObs outcomes. It also highlights key tools, channels, and branding guidelines to effectively reach diverse audiences, from policymakers to local communities.

Technical architecture

The deliverable outlines the project's technical architecture, explaining how data from citizen observatories—such as air quality sensors—is collected, processed, and shared. It describes a step-by-step system that ensures raw sensor data is validated, standardized, and integrated into a unified platform, making it easier to use for decision-making and research. The architecture prioritizes open standards, real-time updates, and accessibility, ensuring that citizen-generated data can contribute meaningfully to environmental monitoring and policy initiatives.
